Terms of service.
Last updated: 8 July 2026 · Applies to getbikefit.com
These terms are the agreement between you and GetBikeFit, operated from Ireland ("we", "us"), when you buy a fit analysis at getbikefit.com. By paying, you accept them. Questions: support@getbikefit.com.
1. The service
For the price shown at checkout (currently €9.99), you receive three video analyses. Each analysis is of one riding video filmed from the side. Our software measures your riding position and produces a written fit report with suggested adjustments, delivered as a downloadable PDF to the email address you provide. Analyses are valid for 12 months from purchase, and each report is available to download for 100 days after it is produced — save your PDF. A video we cannot analyse does not count as one of your three.
2. What the report is — and is not
The fit report is general information, not medical or professional advice. It is produced by automated analysis of the videos you supply and depends entirely on their quality and framing.
If you have pain, an injury, or a medical condition, consult a doctor or physiotherapist before changing your riding position. You make all adjustments to your bicycle, and ride it, at your own risk. Cycling is an inherently risky activity.
3. Your responsibilities
- Only upload videos of yourself, or of someone who has clearly agreed to the analysis.
- Follow the framing guide so the videos are usable.
- Make any adjustments carefully, within your bike manufacturer's limits (for example, seatpost minimum-insertion marks), and re-tighten components to specification.
4. Refunds
- If a video can't be analysed, we'll tell you what to re-shoot and analyse the replacement at no charge — it never counts as one of your three analyses.
- If we still can't produce a usable report, we refund the full price.
- EU consumers: you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. By submitting your videos for analysis you request immediate performance; once your report has been delivered, the withdrawal right lapses as permitted by the Consumer Rights Directive. Before delivery, you may cancel for a full refund at any time.
5. Intellectual property
Your videos remain yours. The report we produce is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. The analysis software, site design, and content remain ours.
6. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Otherwise, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for the consequences of adjustments made contrary to the report, your bike manufacturer's specifications, or common sense.
7. The practical stuff
- GetBikeFit is operated by Andrew Healy, trading as GetBikeFit, A92 WEF8, Ireland.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details.
- How we handle your videos and data is covered by our privacy policy.
- We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
- These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and Irish courts have jurisdiction — though if you are an EU consumer, you keep any protections and venue rights of your home country.
